Organic Coconut Nectar - 400g - NEW RECIPE!

£5.49

So what is Coconut Nectar?

Coconut Nectar is a sweet, unrefined syrup made from pure coconut sap, which is bursting with coconutty goodness. The sap is collected from the inflorescence of the tree and gently heated under low temperatures to produce a syrupy nectar with a distinctive sweet caramel flavour. It’s a great little substitute to processed syrups, honeys and sauces. It’s also low in fructose (unlike our naughty friend Agave).

It has been noted to have a GI (Glycemic Index) of approximately 35, compared with other processed syrups which typically have a GI over 65. It’s also 100% Vegan unlike honey.

It’s used in baking or making desserts and confectionery. But best drizzled over hot porridge. Some call it coconut honey. We call it simply yummy.

How to use Coconut Nectar?

Use it as you’d use honey. Drizzle over desserts, porridge, in drinks or cakes.

Ingredients:

100% organic coconut sap from Sri Lanka.

Volume: 400g glass jar

Suitable for Vegan, Vegetarian & Paleo diets.
